SHADE, CRITTERS & INVADERS

My house sits in the middle of 4.5 acres of forested land in the Catskill Mountains of New York, of which we have cleared approximately half an acre for a woodland garden. Cleared means high canopy shade, abundant local critters and persistent invaders.
